Ladies Club Championship 2022
Monday 18th July 2022
Starting with the Ladies, the junior section emerged victorious for the gross and nett prizes, with Juliette Coffey winning the Club Championship with a gross total of 156 over the 36 holes and Talia Brewer winning the Jean Cross Cup with a nett score of 129.

This is a busy time of year for the junior committee. Having recently met up with other local junior organisers, it’s clear we’re all busily planning for next year - our own fixtures, inter-club matches and other fun activities. It is also a time for reflection - what went well over the past year and what didn’t! There is a definite feeling of hope ahead of next year’s season and the feeling is yes, we’re free to make plans again.....

Junior Update

Working with the Golf Foundation one of our key aims is to work on communication as we believe this will help with participation in competitions, arranging inter-club matches and keeping the members up-to-date with junior events. There are three key areas that we are working towards
being established. A junior website page, Facebook page, a Junior noticeboard, Junior Handbook and various WhatsApp groups. We will keep you informed when these go live!

Friendly Junior Match

A friendly match was held at Woodbridge. Four of our juniors represented FFGC in some very close
matches. Woodbridge were victorious but well played to our players – a great experience on a
beautiful course.
