A win for FFGC ladies

The weather Gods were with us as the ladies hosted two friendly matches for players from Ipswich’s Purdis and Bixley courses on the same morning. 
On paper it looked as if both matches were going to be very tough, but home advantage and some great golf ensured both of our home teams came out on top. The final results were a 3-1 win on the Martello course and 3 1/2 - 1/2 on the Kingsfleet.
By staggering the start times of the matches, all 32 ladies were able to come in together for lunch to enjoy FFGC’s delicious fish and chips after their games - a special request from the Ipswich team!
