A good away win for the ladies

On a day when all four seasons were in evidence every ten minutes or so, Felixstowe ladies headed off to Rushmere for the latest friendly match of the season. 
On paper we appeared to be outclassed, but grit and determination won the day from home advantage, and we surprised both ourselves and our opponents with a 3-1 win for FFGC. 
The match was played in exceptionally good spirits with as much time spent putting layers on and taking them back off again minutes later as with actual golf but there were no complaints. 
The match was followed with a convivial and fun-filled lunch before we made the short trip home.
